but its just a 1 week ban I am proposing. what do admins do to cheaters? they ban them. this goes for any corner of the internet.
most questions of whether something is an exploit or not can be solved quite simply. just ask yourself: is this an exploit? if you are unsure or you think it might be an exploit. THEN IT IS AN EXPLOIT. and what about the summoning rams inside the lord room to provide cover. well I have played games before where creating buildings that would obstruct the movement or vision of the enemy team was illegal, because it is unfair. (for example creating a turret factory to block the entrance to your base in natural selection) is a bannable offense in both CAL and the ANSL. |

Albs just need to use reavers more, then pbaoe can pack up and go home.
It's one class that nullifies pbaoe (outside MOC), no other realm can do this. The shroom thing is infinite worse than pbaoe through walls, for albs. Mids have to handle both pbaoe through walls and shrooms, wiht no solution but pray and force through. Albion and having fun

Given that you would ban people for not realizing they are exploiting a bug, I'm disappointed to hear your perspective, and glad you're not in an admin role here. Alainna

I agree with Trademark here. By Terme's logic, it would be simplest just to ban the animist when he selects the class at level 5. One time when I was just practicing putting ground targets up in an empty keep, I found a really nasty exploit. I immediately /appealed to the admins and told them about it, and verified it was not allowed. But there is a big difference between studying something all alone on a quiet day and shrooming up in a real battle. In a battle, typically I will be ground assisting a Nightshade, shrooming tanglers on the hill, putting my controlled on the door, watching my power level, getting hit by npc and players, etc. I usually do not even know who I hit or how many I killed until after the battle and I scroll up to read the combat log. I am not paying attention to every shroom or even where it lands. I also may be getting that "in the air" message for shrooms placed on open ground right in front of me that should be perfectly legal. The one exploit I accidentally discovered was obvious, but if I hit a bug as shown in the OP screenshot, I would have know way to know. The mechanics have bugs, and an animist playing the game in good faith should not be penalized. We sacrifice a lot so that we can shine in a few very specific situations. |

Assisting a ns with the ck door closed is a neat trick

yes we should just ban all animists once they reach level 5. that will solve the problem. that is what I was logically getting at.
