God that one fight made the whole thing worth it. You don't see that often.

In the future, perhaps the zone to fight in should be the realm that doesn't have any relics.

I was in Hib, sat in the BG for 20-30 minutes and didn't get a group (also saw Mids had 2x our numbers) so told my guild they would be going for the relics and then logged off. Encouraging enemies to zerg hib when we have relics is stupid as is Mids bringing 2x the numbers of the other 2 realms but complaining on the forums they need help.

Next time go play in the frontier that has 0 relics.

This was a good event! It was good for the server, fun for a LOT of people. Pls keep it up! And to make such an event a success in your realm is a lot of work... I usually start to solicit such events at least a week before, and on that day 3-4 hours in advamce. Having people running to populated spots and spam broad, lfg, all /as etc.
This is a lot of work and not too much fun for the leaders, but its worth it. At least every now and then for the sake of the server!

So again, thx for the event... who cares about a relic?

well, they are all now in alb, except our power relic, whatever. Thats just pixels in a game... the fun by hundreds will be remembered for years. Believe me

Had a lot of fun yesterday. So thx to my group, thx all enemies who fight against us, thx to the Orga which brought all the hib/mids into RvR.

IMHO:
- it was no fun (except for the 200 mids)
- event did dmg to leadership of hib
- event did dmg to the RVR population of Alb and Hib
- As long as there is such a population imbalance between the realms during EU prime, those events will be too onesided and will lead to another downward spiral.
- next time there will be 250 mids, maybe 80 Albs and 50 Hibs. No thx

As I explained... this is nothing that comes without work. I do this for years and years now, meanwhile my name maybe enough to mobilise a lot of mids. But that is nothing that comes without years of work, and events that were fun for a lot of people.
And advertise is the most important thing for such event, also nothing that goes without work.
My first and most important emphasis is to make such event fun for my realm, than, after a lot of nothing, i care for the fun of the other realms. They have to take care on their own, i am not the babysitter for the whole server. I am just a player here, as u all are

Holsten you are right. It's ok as long as it is fun (for all) and it was fun (in the beginning). That's the point where I'm with Ramiye...the fun ended abruptly.

I can't speak for the hib side but our fun ceased to exist when the lags began...we were not able to cast whatsoever, even instant casts didn't work. Being superior by sheer numbers is one thing (160 mids, 130 albs, 90 hibs afaik) but not being able to even defend oneself properly is no fun anymore. I know that's not your fault but it really puts the fun into funeral for this and following events!

Dear GMs, please see to it that game mechanics work properly, otherwise mid will have an unfair advantage and again I'm not talking numbers here, that's just a matter of organisation and planning as Holsten stated correctly.

I agree, that was bad. But I have never seen this work better than here on Uth. It was even way worse back on live servers in the days of 2001-2005. We just blamed our own pc back then. But it seems this is a server problem after all. And no other game i know managed to cope this better than daoc so far... but yes it is still far from perfect, I agree

who knows if at some point the server will handle better this kind of events. was really fun
