I'm curious when is this server the busiest with RVR. I'm in US eastern time zone and it seems around 8:00 ish I start seeing people saying GNight its late or see ya, logging.
There's times I wander the BGs or Alb land at 10:00 EST and i MIGHT see 1 person. What times in the US is this server busy with RVR Thanks again. Bobbahunter

Unfortunately the only consistently busy times are during european rvr, which your time would be roughly 1:00 est - 7:00 est (19:00 cet - 01:00 cet)

Bring more NA friends into the game, some friends of mine and I just came back, we are EST, CST and PST NA... Only way to fix it is to bring people back.. That being said, some nights during the week its still amazing, and on weekends we have no trouble at all finding people. |

Keep in mind if you RVR in Emain during low population times you are more likely to find more players, and you will receive a 25% bonus on every player kill (assuming you cannot spec stealth*).
Also, I've checked the stats for the time you requested. I can share with you that consistently, every day, about 28% of players are in RVR zones. During EU times in recent weeks it has been as high as 35% (which is somewhat unusal this month, as usually EU time is 18-25%, US 25-45%). *Note for stealthers: Yes, I know. But you're invisible. People can't see there's action when you're invisible. So the bonus is to show people that things are out there to kill. |

Does that break down to about 100-150 players during NA And 300-350 EU? Was that the peak for this week or the average throughout the week? Is there a way to set limits to the numbers, ie, a person has to have earned atleast 1k rps tp be considered RvRing? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

Also, can you break down participation by realm?

Population by realm is nearly identical. We not separate by realm-in-rvr as a counter stat. Taking a slice last friday (4/6) the RVR population was just shy of 100 at its low point, when the server population was 345. At the same time the realm-online population didnt vary by more than 5 per realm. |

The dopest stat you'll find is that many people run around like ships passing in the night not finding people to RVR, then log off frustrated for 'lack of inc'. We have EU players who do this when there are 400+ people out RVRing.
No one wants to fight in the middle of mobs. There are hotspots. There are smallman- preferred areas. Things that just naturally make sense. keeps make sense to centralize zergs. milegates for stealth, etc. You may not prefer it but if you are finding a *lack* of action where you are, consider relocating. I tell a story that happened on Uth1: I was following a group of players to capture video for a promo, there were over 450 people playing. There were MANY 8 man out. I got my keep siege video, but then I followed this 8 man and another as they circled for ~1.5 hours before BOTH groups logged off frustrated for lack of inc. They literally circled each other. And a day doesn't go by people don't cry radar... |

Im glad to hear rvr pops are nearly identical though it does throw out a possible reason for rp distribution by realm. Id noticed recently that alb has fallen significantly behind the other 2 realms in total rp distribution. About 250+ million. Thats about 4million less rps per week since the start. This week its 8m albs, 13m mids, 14m hibs. My original thought was a numbers game...more mids and hibs rvr, this will earn more rps. But if the same, or close by approximation, are earning rps, then the truth must be that the other 2 realms simply earn more per char. Is this preceived as a balance issue by staff or is it perceived as a player skill issue? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

RPs earned comes and goes. Also its very timezone specific, distribution by realm does vary by time of day. I know for myself my last 2 guilds recently have moved on to some other games so there went a substantial portion of that contribution. Don't try to read into the stats too much. Just go out, play, and have fun.

Agreed, recently alb NA got consolidated some, which has helped a ton. But its also an uphill climb when the average alb is rr4 and the average mid/hib is rr6. Atleast thats the perception as i can see the rr of enemies as they lay bloody and defeated at my feet

I've always suspected NA players participated in rvr at a higher percentage glad to see some numbers to back it up.
NA = rvr EU = pve /discuss |

More than likely EU players tend to enjoy the game as a whole, where NA players tend to play strictly for the RvR aspect. PvE is just a means to an ends. Just remember they also tend to outnumber us 3 to 1. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

Plenty of people enjoy PvE for what it is. In fact, somewhere between 65-80% of them...(strangely, this was the same number given in an interview with Mythic ~2004 or 2005... they talked about how no matter all the expansions, bonuses, or things they changed, they couldnt get more than 20% in RVR regardless of server size. Guinevere with 4500, or Nimue with 700, always 20%...). |
