I have only been hitting NPCs.
Anyone else notice this? Is this intended behavior? I haven't seen any work yet. reference time: last 2 months(all while soloing) I've tried Nightshade up to lvl 26 using CS and piercing styles, Hero up to lvl 12 using shield styles, Champion up to lvl 22 using blades and shield styles. This is all I remember specifically that don't work. the stun spells for enchanter work fine |

You are likely using a style that is a stun style on Live, but were not in 1.65 patch time.
The staff here take great pride in styles being correct, I seriously doubt there is a bug with it. Go here and check style: http://play.nixian.eu/index.php?page=charbuilder Albion and having fun

Nope, that is the charbuilder I use.
Check out the lvl 21 blades style...after block stun 4 sec. This I have tested extensively. It never stuns. I quit playing live around 6months or so after SI came out. I know the stuns worked then. |

Maybe you shouldn't be using a shield as a NS, that's the real issue here |

Hello needs, I just checked the Horizon Blade style in Hibernia. It has an style-stun effect applied to it and should work as intended. Since it is an reactionary style (after a swing was blocked) please make sure the style is executed within the timeframe for reactionary styles to succeed. You should see a corresponding system message weather the style was executed successfully or not. News || Getting Started || Rules || Issue Tracker

If you ever wish to learn to read better, there are several nice free programs available now. |

I thought I saw "someone" testing this the other day.
Or maybe not. It appeared that stun was being applied 2 times in a row and then wearing off...in about 1 second. If that were the case, then it would be greatly noticed on the lower duration stuns. But, not noticed as much on the longer stuns. And for your reading pleasure: issue tracker #'s 0472, 1820. It's really easy to test. set msg for when you apply a stun, and set msg for when the stun wears off them. Personally, I question why these msgs didn't already exist at game launch. (at least for melee range?) This is directed at mythic, not anyone here. Could we get these msgs put in, for a week or so at least? |

I sent you a PM, did you get it? Here's how it happens: 1) I block AND successfully execute Horizon blade. 2) I see some sort of visual effect occurring. 3) NPC never stops moving or attacking me. 4) Where is the 4 second stun? 5) I have never seen a monster get stunned by melee styles.(On Uthgard) Do I need to post this on the issue tracker? There are already a couple of different post about this issue with various styles. |

quick update after more testing
hero lvl 13 shield side snare on red wolfhounds description says 4 sec stun, but it only last 2 sec. 10x exact same results |
|
A quick fix maybe: Make the stunned NPC immune to stun from the same person, until the 1st stun wears off.
|
|
more test data: Enchanter and mentalist stuns only work for 1/2 the stated duration vs NPC.
Would anyone like to volunteer to test stuns on live? Also, need a volunteer to test stun durations on uthgard against players. |
|
Guess no one cares if the game works right or not.
Could someone at least look at the code and see if it is specifically coded to only use 50% stun duration against NPCs? If that is the case, then is it the same for all CC? |
|
It's considered as a pve mob, stun duration gets halved before immunity.thats my guess.test it in a duel and report if it's the same.

My internet is pretty slow. I can't see any testdata ? Pls repost
