teleporters/NPCs/forge, alchie table and so on...i believe all the housing
stuff will be ingame sooner or later :)

Btw. it would be nice is the realms leading crafters (Esme in midgard for
example) get a house near the entrance so that all crafters may be able
to craft in one house, because housing will lure all crafters out of Jordheim
as it was seen on live servers.

In addition Esme should receive a new title. "Crafter Muddi" or "Goddes of Manufacturing"

Hmm in this case i would say: Just no craft-installations for houses at all, but a supportchain via buyable teleporter to the homevault(s).
Next Step would be to add Trainers to the houses ;). Hm serious, id not like to see everybody sitting in his cellars, crafting^^

Hihi well, nice imagination though. :D

How shame, you midgarders and more particulary my guildmates are able to drive out of topic ...

Well .. i must say i'm "afraid" too about crafting tool in house. Jordheim is a good meeting point and help to gather community.

Maybe an exception for alchemy since potions need be done a load and being near 15 vault could be nice.

For the rest like all merchants, bind stones, alcoohol receller .. oops

Pirith.

I have a question about armorcrafting. I was told that there was a merchant which sold the linings needed to create armor. When I tried to use the linings sold by the merchants, the recipe didn't work. Did someone lie to me that the linings could be used so I didn't have to buy them from a tailor or is there something else wrong?

Thanks for your time,

Aerewyn

You don't need linings - just use regular armor. (This is a know issue and might be changed some day.)
Happy hunting!

I tried regular armor from the armor merchant as well, and gave me the same message. the only thing that seemed to work was crafting the gloves I needed myself...but I am really not interested in leveling a tailor just so I can craft chain armor...

you can buy the linings at the merch for up tp lvl 31 chain armor.

any chain beyond that you will have to find a taylor to craft linings for you

an easy way to find out is to stand at the forge and click on the item you want to craft.
then it will tell you wich kind of inlay you are missing

I don't see what is so bad about allowing 1 char to max out tailoring and armour crafting on same toon. You still need to spend the time and money crafting both to ledgendary the only diff is it is on one toon. It wouldn't be be the "ultimate crafter" since there is still weapon crafting and fletching as well as spell crafting and alch.

My ideas of what could work that could still keep the term "dark age" to its fullest meaning (assuming that the coding for this could be done)

1) How about makeing that merchent that sells lineings that actually work?
2) Make a seperate skill that can be skilled up by armour crafters that has only lineings in it kinda like a secondary skill but the only way to skill in is to make stuff from that catagory unlike secondary skills.
3) An account that has a ledgendary tailor on it removes the skill cap of tailoring from any armour crafters on that account so essentially to gain the bennifit of having both tailor and armourcrafter on same char that person would have to skill up two tailors.

Of course i am sure the opinion will be these are to liberal of thoughts and would ruin the game by making it easy mode.

Oh and I have tried useing regular armour it still doesn't work it askes for roman sleeves and i buy roman leather sleeves or something like that won't work.
