It really depends on what you wanna do. I would do it like that (but I dont play reaver):

grpspec:

lw1-2
det5
quick3

as basics. Afterwards you're a bit more free too chose between twf1-3, moblock, maybe mopain/aug dex as well.

solo spec:

lw1
purge2-3
ip2
quick3
mob2-3

as basics. Afterwards you're a free here again

need AT till 44 to get it

considering that the drain lvl 41 its the only thing you get from 36 soulrending to 41 (106 dmg 80%drain vs 83 dmg 70% drain) and you still lose a lot of parry (6 vs 20 with full AT, 19 with AT till 40) not sure the full AT its really worth it. You basically trade 23 more spell damage every 30 seconds, for 14 points in parry.

if you stop flex At at 40 you still have 19 parry 36 SR, dont waste a respec gem, and you can enjoy the side style for exp/bgs after 40

i ve never used a high level reaver but i dont think the higher drain is gona make any difference in terms of additional dps in a 8v8 fight, and in a solo/duo situation i think the build with more parry is the best, I dont really see the point of going 41 SR

I have to agree with you over the whole line.
Thx for the info.

Twf 3 is a must have in my opinion (6L6 reaver)
and when you can afford it a little m.o.m to boost the twf and rr5 is really funny.
mastery of pain is also a must have and dual threat comes in wicked handy.

I didn't AT so I don't have the purple life tap but..
50flx 42shield 36 sr 15 parry has been working well for me.
Though I do have a fully AT'd reaver on a different server and that purple life tap is nice to have.

In group the main reavers problem is CCs and not damage. Imo Det5 + purge1 is a must-have for groups. TWF3 should come later.
Also I think aug quickness 3 is a more efficient damage boost since most of reaver damage comes from procs.
I am assuming direct control.

Older thread, but I'll reply 'cuz I've been loving my low RR reaver lately.

50 flex
42 shield
41 SR
6 parry

Had a conversation when I was choosing my spec with realm mates, was suggested that the less parry you have the better, as your "After you block" style will have a chance of going off more. Granted, that style chain is four long (rarely gonna happen in RvR), but fun as hell if it does go off. Personally, I wouldn't trade my purple life tap for the parry (just my opinion).

My RAs are completely solo based:

TWF 1
MoB 3
Tireless 1
Aug Dex 2
Aug Str 2
Mastery of Pain 2
Purge 1

I specced the AugD and AugS early when I was crush and in the BGs. Prolly not as viable in big boy rvr now. TWF 1 is simply to 'rupt/root the shams and skalds that want to kite me, has won me some fights.

I run with full buff pots + haste/dex/abla/HoT from items. The haste is MUST HAVE IMO, as the more Levis that you can get off the more fights you'll win.

Just my $.02.

Depends :-) I d rather go with group ra spec, as standing in mezz/root while group mates getting killed sucks.

Ofc if you run without cleric, IP could be handy.

Really hard to tell.
